Stewardship
Preserving Cleveland Park for future generations
Friends of Cleveland Park was formed in 2023 to speak for, promote, and protect Greenville's historic park. Preservation, for us, is ordinary and practical work done alongside neighbors and the City.
Advocacy
We act as a voice for the park in public conversations about its future. The City of Greenville owns and operates Cleveland Park; our role is to represent the people who use it and to keep the park's long-term care on the agenda.
Participation
The park is cared for best when people show up for it. Clean-up days, planting opportunities, and focused park projects are all ways neighbors can take part—no experience required.
Thoughtful care
After Hurricane Helene took more than 40 trees, the 100 Trees for 100 Years campaign aims to bring 100 new trees to Cleveland Park and to bring neighbors together for a volunteer planting day.
